What you need

cup granulated sugar

tbsp heavy cream

cup sour cream
egg

tsp baking soda

cup flour

tsp vanilla extract

tbsp unsalted butter

cup creamy peanut butter

tsp salt
cup vegetable oil

cup powdered sugar

cup water

cup cocoa powder
Instructions
1: Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease an 8x8 or 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper. 2: In a medium mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. 3: In another medium mixing bowl, combine sour cream, egg, hot water, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk together. 4: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. 5: Pour the cake mix into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes. If using a 9x13 pan, check around 20 minutes for doneness. 6: Remove from the oven and let it cool. Flip out onto a cooling rack. 7: To make the frosting, beat together the butter, powdered sugar, and peanut butter. Add vanilla extract and heavy cream, beating until smooth. 8: Frost the cooled cake and sprinkle crushed peanut butter cups on top. Enjoy!View original recipe
