These Banana Chocolate Chip Squares are moist and perfect for a snack. Easy to make, they contain a delicious blend of bananas and chocolate. Topped with caramel butter cream and extra chocolate chips, these squares are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

What you need

tbsp heavy cream
egg

tsp vanilla extract

tbsp unsalted butter

tsp salt

tbsp caramel sauce

cup powdered sugar

banana

cup all purpose flour

cup light-brown sugar
Instructions
1: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x8 baking dish, lined with parchment paper. 2: In a mixing bowl, beat butter and brown sugar till smooth for about three minutes. 3: Add in egg and vanilla extract. 4: Mix flour and salt in a small bowl. Add to wet ingredients and beat together till combined. 5: Mash 2 1/2 bananas and set the remaining half aside. Fold in bananas to mixture till fully combined. 6: Fold in chocolate chips, saving a handful to sprinkle on top of batter. 7: Pour banana mix into the prepared baking dish, sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top and bake for 30-35 minutes. 8: Remove from oven and let cool for 15 minutes. Flip onto a cooling rack. 9: Make frosting by beating butter till smooth. Add in powder sugar, caramel, heavy cream, and vanilla extract and beat till smooth for about three-five minutes. 10: Slice squares and pipe frosting onto cooled squares and top off with mini chocolate chips.
