What you need
cup vegetable oil

cup flour

tbsp cooking oil

tbsp unsalted butter

cup granulated sugar

tsp vanilla extract

egg yolk

cup nutella

cup milk

tsp cinnamon

tsp ground nutmeg

tsp active dry yeast
egg
Instructions
1. Combine lukewarm milk (110 degrees F) and active dry yeast and let it sit for 10 minutes until it activates. 2. In a stand-in mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Mix in the eggs and egg yolk. 3. Add in the yeast mixture and continue to whisk on medium speed. 4. Switch mixer to a dough hook. Add in the flour. The dough will be soft. Place the dough in a greased oil bowl and cover with plastic wrap and a towel. Put the dough in a warm place for 90 minutes to rise until it’s double in size. 5. Remove dough from the bowl and roll out with a rolling pin. Using a heart shape cookie cutter, cut heart-shape donuts and place them on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Let them rise for 30 more minutes, covered with a towel. 6. While the dough is rising, heat vegetable oil to 350°F. Fry donuts two minutes on each side until golden brown. Sprinkle the fried donuts in cinnamon sugar and pipe Nutella into each donut. Enjoy!View original recipe
