Sticky Toffee Apple Pudding Cake

What you need

cup light-brown sugar

cup pecan

apple

tsp baking powder
cup apple cider

tsp vanilla extract
egg

cup granulated sugar

tbsp unsalted butter

ground cinnamon

tsp aluminum-free baking powder

cup all purpose flour
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9” skillet or a 9x9 baking dish. 2. Combine flour, baking powder and cinnamon and set aside. 3. Beat butter and sugar till smooth. Add in eggs and vanilla extract and combine together. 4. In a medium saucepan boil apple cider. Remove from heat and add baking soda and stir. 5. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients a little at a time, alternating pouring in the warm apple cider. 6. Add in apples and pecans, fold in with spatula. 7. Put batter in a prepared skillet or baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes. 8. While baking make toffee by melting butter. Add in brown sugar and stir till dissolves. Add in heavy cream and reduce heat and stir till thickens. Add in vanilla extract and stir. 9. Remove cake from oven and let it sit for 5 minutes. Poke holes in the cake and pour toffee sauce over the cake. Optional, sprinkle extra pecans and add ice-cream.View original recipe
