What you need

egg

tsp ground cinnamon

tsp vanilla extract

cup all purpose flour

tbsp unsalted butter

tsp salt

cup sugar

tsp ground nutmeg

tsp baking powder

cup dairy milk
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease donut pans. Into a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. 3. Stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined. We use a stand mixer for the donuts but you do not have to. 4. Pipe the batter into the baking pans, filling each one a little more than three-quarters full. 5. Bake for 12 minutes, until donuts rise and are not wet on top. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then tap the donuts out onto a sheet pan. 6. For the topping, melt the 6 tbsp of butter into a dish big enough to dunk your donut in. Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. 7. Dip each donut first in the butter and then in the cinnamon sugar, we dunk both sides! 8. Finish off with topping donut with chocolate, chocolate mini truffles and marshmallows if you like!View original recipe
