Caramel Banana Pecan Tart

This tart is my favorite, it’s super easy to put together! You can use a round or rectangle tart pan! Don’t have a tart pan you can use a baking sheet or pie dish! I made it this morning before we left to house hunt and my husband said you better be

What you need

cup dark brown sugar

tbsp milk

banana

caramel sauce

tbsp unsalted butter

cup granulated sugar

tsp kosher salt

cup vegetable oil

cup all purpose flour

cup pecan

tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Make the dough: In a small bowl combine flour, sugar and salt together. In a small bowl combine the oil, milk and extract. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix with a fork. Pour dough into tart pan and press down to cover bottom of tart pan and sides of pan. Make Filling: slice 2 bananas, thinly and place them on top of the crust. Combine crushed pecan and brown sugar and sprinkle over bananas. Make Topping: In a medium bowl combine sugars, flour and butter. You can use your fingers or a fork to crumble together. Sprinkle over bananas and pecans. Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees F and 25 minutes at 375 degrees F (total bake time 35 minutes). We cover the top of the tart pan with tinfoil for the last 10 minutes.
