How about bothπππ #banana #strawberry #crumble #bars #yes #easy #breakfast Ingredients Crust and Crumble: * 1 cup old-fashioned oats * 3/4 cup all-purpose flour * 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed * 1/2 tsp salt * 8 tbsp unsalted butter, melted * 1 tsp vanilla extract Filling: * 2 cup diced fresh strawberries *1 banana, sliced * 2 tbsp sugar * 1 tbsp lemon juice * 2 tsp all-purpose flour For the glaze: * 1/2 cup powdered sugar * 1 tbsp lemon juice * Optional 1 tbsp heavy cream Instructions * Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.Β Line an 8x8 inch square pan with parchment paper (easiest method in my opinion) or grease the pan well, and set aside.β¨ Crust: * In a large bowl, whisk together oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt.Β Stir in melted butter and vanilla until it's a well-mixed crumble mixture. * Set aside a little then half of the mixture; pour remaining into pan and press into an even flat layer with your hands.Β Set aside while you prepare the filling. Filling: * In a medium bowl, toss strawberries, bananas, sugar, lemon juice, and flour until strawberries are completely and evenly coated.Β Pour mixture over top of crust and spread into an even layer. Crumble: * Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over top of the strawberries and bananas as evenly as you can, and press down! Baking time: * Bake for 30-35 minutes, until crumble and crust are golden and fruit is slightly bubbling.Β * Let cool completely. We leave out for 30 minutes and then put into the fridge for a few hours before cutting! Once cooled we combined all glaze ingredients together and drizzle on top of the bars.
