Banana Tres Leches

This Banana Tres Leches is so moist. It’s soaked in 3 milks, has a layer of bananas and it’s absolutely delicious! I made the cake homemade but if you don’t want to make the cake homemade you can grab a white box of cake mix! Full recipe below.

What you need

cup coconut milk
cup shredded coconut

cup flour

banana

tsp baking soda

tsp vanilla extract

cup heavy whipping cream

tsp baking powder

cup milk

oz sweetened condensed milk

cup granulated sugar

egg white

oz cool whip

tbsp unsalted butter

egg yolk

cup ripe banana
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325° F. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish. 2. Mix flour, baking soda and baking powder in a medium bowl. Set aside. 3. Seperate eggs putting yolks in one bowl and whites in another. Set aside. 4. In a stand in mixer bowl fitted with paddle beat butter and sugar together till soft and fluffy, 2-3 minutes. Add in only egg yolks and continue to beat together till combine. 5. Add in mashed bananas and vanilla extract and combine. 6. Slowly add a little flour, alternating adding flour and milk till fully incorporated. 7. In a clean stand in mixer whisk together egg whites till white and fluffy peaks. About 3-5 minutes. Fold into cake batter till combine. 8. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Take out of oven and let cool for about an hour in the baking dish. 9. Make milk mixture, by combining all 3 milks together with a dash of cinnamon in a measuring cup and stir together. 10. Pour entire milk mixture all over cooled cake. 11. Cover baking dish with tinfoil and place in fridge overnight to soak or soak for a minimum of 4 hrs. 12. Remove from fridge and spread cool whip over the cake, sprinkle toasted coconut and add sliced bananas.View original recipe
