Cookie Dough Snack Cake

Y’all this cookie dough cake is so good! You’re going to want to eat the whole cake and it is a great cake to make if you have leftover cookie dough in the freezer or you can buy pre-package cookie dough as well!

What you need

tbsp milk

tbsp unsalted butter

cup fat-free buttermilk

cup all purpose flour

cup light-brown sugar

cup sugar
tsp baking powder

pie dough
cup vegan chocolate chips

tsp salt

tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
* Preheat oven to 350° F. Line one 9” square cake pan with parchment paper and grease the sides. * In a large bowl combine dry cake ingredients, excluding sugar. Set aside. * In a medium bowl beat butter with an electric mixer. Add in sugar and beat for 5 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla extract and beat till combine. Alternating milk and flour add in a little at a time till it is combined and smooth. Fold in chocolate chips. * Pour half of the cake batter in the pan. Layer slices of cookie dough on top of the cake. Pour other half of batter on top of cookie dough and smooth out. Bake for 45-50 minutes. Let cake cool for 5 minutes and pop on to cooling rack. * While cake is continuing to cool make your frosting by beating butter. Add in brown sugar, vanilla extract, milk, and salt. Continue to beat for about 8 min. Microwave flour in a small bowl for 90 secs. This heat treats the flour. Pour flour into mixture, with powder sugar and beat for another 3 min till smooth. * Cut sides of cake and frost cake.
