What you need

tsp salt

tsp vanilla extract
slice lemon zest

cup powdered sugar
tsp lemon extract

cup sugar

tbsp lemon juice

egg

tsp baking powder

cup all purpose flour

cup dairy milk
slice lemon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a glass loaf pan. Combine dry ingredients: flour, sugar, and baking powder. Set aside. In a separate bowl, combine egg, milk, melted butter and whisk together. Add vanilla extract, lemon juice, lemon extract, and lemon zest and whisk till combined. Combine wet ingredients into dry and stir together until just combined. Pour batter into the greased loaf pan. Bake for 45 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes in the pan, then flip the loaf onto a cooling rack. For the Glaze: Combine all glaze ingredients (powdered sugar, lemon juice, 1/2 lemon zest) together and pour on top of your cooled loaf. Let sit for 5 minutes for the glaze to harden a bit. Add sliced lemons to the top of the loaf for decoration (optional: dip sliced lemons in a little sugar before placing). Slice loaf and enjoy.View original recipe
