Instructions
1. For the Crust: Combine crushed Oreos and melted butter. In a heart-shape or 8” springform pan, press the Oreo crust down firmly. Place in the fridge to set. 2. For the Cheesecake Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add in powdered sugar and granulated sugar, and combine well. Stir in vanilla extract. 3. In a separate mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. Then, fold in the crushed and chopped Oreos. 4. Pour the cheesecake mixture on top of the prepared crust in the springform pan and smooth out the top until flat. Place the cheesecake in the fridge for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight, to set completely. 5. For the Ganache Topping: Heat heavy cream until hot but not boiling. Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate bars. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the ganache thickens. Once the cheesecake is set, pour the ganache over the top. 6. For the Toppings: In a bowl, combine chocolate crunchies and the optional hard shell topping. Pour this mixture over the ganache topping. Place the cheesecake back in the fridge while you prepare or retrieve your chocolate whipped cream. 7. To Serve: Pipe whipped cream onto the cheesecake, add an additional Oreo for decoration, and enjoy!View original recipe
