Cinnamon Sugar Donut

Our classic cinnamon sugar donut need to make an appearance as it’s been a while! We made these fresh for our friends wedding this morning🍩 these are really easy to make and only take 10-12 minutes to bake.

What you need

tsp vanilla extract

tbsp unsalted butter

cup milk

egg

tsp salt

tsp nutmeg

tsp ground cinnamon

tsp baking powder

cup sugar

cup all purpose flour
Instructions
1. Donuts- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease donut pans. Into a large bowl, combine together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. 3. Stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined. 4. Pipe the batter into the baking pans, filling each one a little more than three-quarters full. 5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until donuts rise and are not wet on top. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then tap the donuts out onto a sheet pan. 6. For the topping, melt the 6 tbsp of butter into a dish big enough to dunk your donut in. Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. 7. Dip each donut first in the butter and then in the cinnamon sugar, we dunk both sides! 8. Finish donuts off by dunking into some melted chocolate!
