What you need

tsp ground cinnamon
egg

cup all purpose flour

tbsp unsalted butter

tbsp ground cinnamon

cup milk

cup light-brown sugar

cup powdered sugar

tsp baking powder

tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° F. Prepare a 8x8 baking dish with a square of parchment paper and grease dish with baking spray. In a small bowl combine brown sugar, cinnamon and melted butter, stir and set aside. Make brown butter by simply heating butter on stovetop on medium heat and stir constantly for 5 minutes till brown. In a medium bowl combined mashed or puréed bananas, brown butter, and brown sugar, whisk together. Add egg, milk and extract and stir. In a separate bowl add baking soda and cinnamon to flour and stir. Mix into wet ingredients and combine. Add batter to prepared baking dish and smooth out evenly. Scoop out cinnamon topping on to cake and swirl into the top of the cake. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Ours baked exactly for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and combine powder sugar and milk for icing. Once cooled pop out of baking dish and pour icing on top. Slice and enjoy.View original recipe
