Happy (one day late) Birthday to me! I decided to make my own bday cake and I wasn’t going to originally post it because I didn’t think it came out perfect but friendly reminder things do not need to be perfect looking all the time (my husband devoured it)😋 Inspiration for this cake came from my friends @megsescapades daughter, ty 💕 recipe below!

What you need

tsp vanilla extract

cup all purpose flour

tbsp unsalted butter

cup rainbow sprinkles

tsp baking powder

tsp table salt

cup granulated sugar

egg white

cup milk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a stand in mixing bowl beat together butter till fluffy, 2 minutes. Add in sugar and beat till smooth. Add in vegetable oil and vanilla extract and combine. In a separate bowl mix together dry ingredients. Slowly add 1 cup of flour into wet ingredients at a time, alternating pouring in the milk. Mix till smooth. Beat egg whites with an electric mixer till stiff peaks form. Fold into batter with half the sprinkles. Set other half of sprinkles aside. We used two 6” pans and also made cupcakes. For just the cake use three 6” pans or two 9” pans. Bake for 35-40 minutes till toothpick comes out clean. Let cakes cool for 10 minutes and pop on to cooling rack to cool fully and make frosting. We made a butter cream frosting that we will add to our website today. Stack cake and frost. Add remaining sprinkles the to top-center of the cake and enjoy!View original recipe
