Reese’s Dark Chocolate Snack Cake

Y’all I am nuts about this snack cake! Who doesn’t love a one layer cake that only takes 30 minutes to bake!

What you need

cup powdered sugar

cup creamy peanut butter

cup unsalted butter

tsp vanilla extract
cup vegetable oil

egg

cup sour cream

tsp kosher salt

tsp baking soda

tsp baking powder

cup cocoa powder

cup all purpose flour

cup granulated cane sugar
Instructions
* Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease 8x8 baking dish lined with parchment paper. * In a medium mixing bowl combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside. * In a medium mixing bowl combine sour cream, egg, hot water, vegetable oil and vanilla extract. Whisk together. * Pour wet into dry ingredients and combine till smooth. Pour cake mix into prepared baking dish. Bake for 30-35 minutes. * Remove from oven and let cool. Flip out of baking dish onto cooling rack. * Make frosting by beating butter, powder sugar and peanut butter together. Add in vanilla extract and heavy cream. Beat till smooth. Frost cake. * Sprinkle crushed peanut butter cups on top and enjoy!View original recipe
