Ground vanilla wafers in blender, set aside. In a larger bowl beat heavy whipping cream and sweetened condensed milk till it thickens. Approximately 5-6 minutes with a high- speed hand held mixer. Can also use stand mixer. Fold in vanilla extract, instant pudding mix and mashed banana and beat for another 1 minute with hand held mixer. Fold in thinly sliced bananas and wafer crumbs reserving a small amount of crumbs to sprinkle on top. Spread banana pudding ice-cream in a loaf pan and add remaining crushed wafers on top. Wrap pan in seran wrap and put in freezer for 6 hrs or overnight.
