Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a stand in mixing bowl beat together butter till fluffy, 2 minutes. Add in sugar and beat till smooth. Add in vegetable oil and vanilla extract and combine. In a separate bowl mix together dry ingredients. Slowly add 1 cup of flour into wet ingredients at a time, alternating pouring in the milk. Mix till smooth. Beat egg whites with an electric mixer till stiff peaks form. Fold into batter with half the sprinkles. Set other half of sprinkles aside. We used two 6” pans and also made cupcakes. For just the cake use three 6” pans or two 9” pans. Bake for 35-40 minutes till toothpick comes out clean. Let cakes cool for 10 minutes and pop on to cooling rack to cool fully and make frosting. Make frosting by using a stand-in mixer, beating the butter till it is soft and fluffy. About 2 minutes. Add powder sugar and combine. Add in vanilla extract and milk and whip till smooth. Once cake is completely cool (about 60 minutes) frost and pipe cake. Add remaining sprinkles to top-center of the cake.
