These Lemon Glazed Donuts are perfect for the warm weather 🌞 we’re loving the sun! Lemon Glazed Donuts: * 2 cups all-purpose flour * 1 1/2 cups sugar * 2 tsp baking powder * 1/4 tsp salt * 1 Lg egg * 1 1/4 cups whole milk * 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted * 1 tsp pure vanilla extract * 2 tbsp lemon juice * 1 1/2 tsp lemon extract * Lemon zest (1 lemon) Lemon Glaze: * 1 cup powder sugar * 2-3 tbsp lemon juice * Lemon zest (1/2 lemon, save other half to top off donuts) Instructions: * Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. * Grease two 6 cavity donut pans. This recipe makes 12 donuts. * Combine dry ingredients, flour, sugar and baking powder. Set aside. * Combine egg, milk, melted butter and whisk together. Add vanilla extract, lemon juice, lemon extract and lemon zest and whisk till combine. * Combine wet ingredients into dry and mix at medium speed for appx 3 minutes. * Pipe donut mix into donut pans, filling 3/4 of the way. * Bake for 12 minutes. * Cool for 5 minutes and pop onto a cooling rack. * Glaze: combine all glaze ingredients together and ice donuts with a spoon or you can dunk them! Add lemon zest and you can slice your lemons to add slices to the top of the donuts if desired!
